Photo shoot previews

Little Miss T

Did a shoot last week for an adorable little 2 year old, Miss T. Here’s a storyboard preview of her session:

Easton & Hunter

I had the pleasure of doing a newborn session of a beautiful little princess a couple weeks ago and also did a quick session with her adorable big brother. Here are some shots from that session:

Can’t wait to follow these two as the grow!

I am on a blog team for Andie Smith Designs and she is having a contest on her blog for using storyboards to display more than one photo at a time from a photo session. So here is my entry/example in the contest using photos from my Mother’s Day session with the darling Isabella:

And check out Andie’s site because all her storyboards are on sale right now during the contest!!

Show Photos–Deep Fork CHA, Bristow, OK

I got to shoot show photos from all 5 days of the 2009 NCHA point year kick-off shows in Oklahoma.  The above photos are from the Deep Fork CHA show, Dec 28-30th, at the Brewster Ranch Arena in Bristow, OK.  It was a marathon of showing for everyone involved, but it was also a lot of fun for everyone.  These were my first shows to shoot with strobe light flashes and it was quite a learning experience for me, but at the end of the week I came out with a lot more knowledge about flash photography and show photography than I went in with.  After shooting over 800 entries in 5 days of cutting, you’re going to learn some things.  My most important lesson was to always have more flash batteries than you think you’ll need and just because a printer works at home doesn’t mean it’s going to cooperate when you set up at the show.  Lessons learned!

The {W} Family

I had the privilege of doing a shoot with the {W} family last weekend.  They were so much fun & came up with lots of great poses.  And the kids are absolutely adorable and were so much fun.  Here’s a preview:

I had so much fun working with this sweet girl!  So easy to work with.  Thanks so much for letting me do your portraits!!  Here’s a preview for mom.

“C” family session

I was so excited to get to do the “C” family session this afternoon.  They let me try out a new location with them & it turned out beautifully!  Sun was a little harsh, but the scenery was so pretty, it was worth it.  They are such a beautiful family & were so much fun to work with.  Here’s an initial preview.
